Yea, we still got to watch but didn’t get to dress up anymore. We do have photos of us looking like dorks in those huge 3D glasses though, but doesn’t everyone? I did post a photo of the Tweedles a few posts back. They were cool. :)

These photos are of my new room sans furniture. It’s amazing and so inspiring. I’m quite tempted to not move anything in but my clothes into the closet… It’s incredibly relaxing not having clutter.

Anyway, my room faces the West so I get the Golden Hour everyday!

Some thoughts about the movie organized into dots. I love dots. (Yes, I know they’re bullet points.)

The only way to watch is on IMAX. Seriously.
The storyline was satisfactory. Predictable but, hey, the visuals were amazing. I wasn’t disappointed.
Oh and keep in mind that it’s not the same Alice in Wonderland as the animation and all those other versions. It’s a completely different story. So don’t complain about it being “not like the original” because it ain’t. Don’t say you weren’t warned!
Mia Wasikowska was so-so. Her acting was a bit bland and missing something. Not sure if it’s because she was acting alongside brilliant actors like Johnny, Helena, Anne, Alan, and even Crispin.
Speaking of brilliant acting, Anne Hathaway surprised me. She did wonderfully as the eccentric and dramatic White Queen/Mirana with psychotic tendencies. I love love love her.

Costumes. COSTUMES. ALL of the costumes were fantastic. I swear if I don’t work for a magazine or an ad agency, I’d like to be a costume designer for a movie.

Oh and we were waiting in line behind Dee and Dum. (photo from my mom’s twitpic)

Overall, it was worth seeing it in the cinema and not just waiting for it on dvd. :)
